Hey there, it's your wave-riding pal, Joss, heart seeking to move mountains with values and integrity!! For the past decade, I've proudly represented El Salvador as a Pro Paddle Surfing athlete. Now, whether you're a rookie or a pro, grab your board and join me for an epic journey!

I got my Bachelor's in Business Economics, and now I'm crushing it in my Master's in Business Administration, specializing in the Sports Industry.

But, let me tell you, my love for sports runs deep - it's in my blood! I was raised as an athlete, and boy, did I see the magic it can do! Not only does it change lives, but it also brings out the best in you.
So, I've made it my mission to spread the joy of sports far and wide, starting with El Salvador and, who knows, maybe even the whole wide world!

Loving my passion for sports I have decided to share it with all the Salvadoran people and hopefully the world.

My mission is to inspire Salvadoran youth and eventually the world to become better versions of themselves and always pursue their dreams by: breaking boundaries through education, happiness, peace and integrity.

My vision is to be an agent of positive change by becoming a professional SUP athlete of El Salvador capable of representing and inspiring my country and the world, transforming not only the society but the sports and tourism industry through personal start ups.

History

I was raised in a family of athletes, which immersed me in the world of sports and their principles. In 2011, I decided to chase my surfing dream. But before that, I needed to achieve optimal physical fitness, prompting me to embark on an intensive athletic training journey. Fueled by my competitive spirit and dedication, I soon sought a competitive sport.

By 2012, I received an invitation to join the national rowing team. In that same year, I excelled, becoming the top-ranked rower in El Salvador, securing national titles and international medals.

But life had more surprises in store for me. In 2013, I got the call to join the national surf team, becoming the first-ever female representative for El Salvador in Stand Up Paddle. The thrill of riding those waves was like nothing I’d ever experienced before.

Now, as a professional surfer, I’m living my wildest dreams, representing my sponsors and my country with pride. And to top it all off, I’m the reigning champ of Stand Up Paddle in all of Central America!

Since 2017, I’ve been named the Country Brand Ambassador, the sole representative in the sports field for the first two years. I’m the founder of “Mar de Sueños,” a social enterprise aimed at combining my sports career with my life purpose: transforming lives through sports by instilling values and virtues for personal and professional growth. I’m now developing the next phase of “Mar de Sueños” with a project called “Waveswell,” where retreat participants contribute to the success of Mar de Sueños.

In 2018, I joined the Global Shapers Community as a member of the San Salvador Hub for two years. This initiative, backed by the World Economic Forum, connects and empowers young leaders worldwide to initiate dialogue, action, and change. My sport career also involves public relations through various media, including television, radio, magazines, and motivational talks for educational institutions, NGOs, and private companies.

I am currently pursuing an MBA in Sports Management and ready to be the host of one of the very best adventures of my life, Waveswell retreats!
